In May I stayed at The Parker in Palm Springs for a weekend. I had been wanting to see the hotel's funky decor for a while, and was not disappointed. Upon arrival you pull up to a massive ornamental white wall with equally large orange doors.
Each space was decorated with so much attention to detail. My favorite space was the lounge, I felt like I had stepped back in time to 1969. Also how cute are those owls?
The sleeping rooms are equally well curated. I had to fight the strong urge to steal the adorable Palm Springs pillow off our bed but I did take every last bathroom toiletry including Hermes and L'Occitane soaps, Molton Brown body wash, and Bvgari lotion. I also loved that our room had a balcony with a great view for morning coffee.
There is no shortage of good food at The Parker. We got dressed up and had a cocktail at the Mini Bar before enjoying a sexy candle lit dinner at Mister Parker's.
Norma's is the cutest little brunch spot. I am still dreaming about the huevos rancheros that I had there.
Laying by the pool and ordering cocktails from the Lemonade Stand was so relaxing as was laying in a hammock surrounded by Palm Trees and reading a book. When I got a little stir crazy Dave and I headed over the the Croquet lawn, ordered two Pimms Cups, and whacked the balls around the course for a few hours.
