Thursday marked one month since Dave and I said our vows in front of 34 family members and friends in the tuscan countryside. We couldn't think of a better way to celebrate than to open a bottle of Italian wine and going through our wedding photos and video footage.
A few weeks ago I hit the big 3-0. Unlike most people who dread their 20s ending I was really looking forward to this birthday. I wanted to share a quick birthday recap with you as well as links to my birthday outfit (thank you for all of the compliments).
One of my favorite experiences to date was visiting La Pause outside of Marrakech. The website leaves a bit of mystery as to what you will find upon arrival, which only added to the excitement of the experience. The eco resort is a hotel that also hosts lavish dinners and experiences such as camel rides in the desert.
In late January I traveled with friends to Marrakech for the first time. It was a perfect escape from freezing New York City. The weather was warm, but not hot, and the medina was a bit more manageable as it was not yet tourist season.
For night two of our winter escape upstate, Dave and I headed further north to Hudson. The hygge factor reached another level while staying at the River Town Lodge.
In search of a break from city life and some much needed hygge Dave and I recently headed upstate to check out some new places to stay and eat. My first stop was Scribner's Catskill Lodge.
In June I visited Morocco for the first time. I went a bit off the beaten path to the city of Rabat.
In May I stayed at The Parker in Palm Springs for a weekend. I had been wanting to see the hotel's funky decor for a while, and was not disappointed.
Each spring the Cherry Blossom trees that line DC's tidal basin burst into fluffy white blooms. After living on the east coast of the United States for over a decade I finally made it down to DC to see this stunning event.
There are so many places I want to go I do not like to go the same place twice. There are, however, a few magical places that have stolen my heart that are worth the repeat. Tulum is one of those places.
I have been to Rome a handful of times now. The first time I went in 2011 it snowed for the first time in 20 years! I have never seen 3 inches of snow shut down a city like the way it did Rome.
A few years ago I took a trip around Europe by train and one of my stops was Paris. It's such an iconic city for so many reasons and it did not disappoint. It really is true that french bread and croissants are better in Paris and seeing the Eiffel Tower for the first time was something I will never forget.
I have so many favorite memories from my wedding, and a lot of those moments were with Dave. But one of the highlights was getting to spend the morning with my girlfriends.
